Jurassic Summer Arrives at Eastgate
Get ready to step back in time as Eastgate Shopping Centre launches its biggest prehistoric adventure yet.
This summer, Eastgate is transforming into a Jurassic playground packed with dinosaur discoveries, family fun and exciting interactive experiences for children of all ages. From roaming dinosaurs and live entertainment to excavation zones and treasure-hunt style trails, there are plenty of reasons to make Eastgate your family destination this summer.
Dino Day Adventure Comes to Eastgate – 4th July
Prepare for a prehistoric takeover as Eastgate Shopping Centre welcomes the spectacular Dino Day Adventure, delivered in partnership with Yellow Bus Company.
As part of the Nevis Club Goes Mega Jurassic campaign, Eastgate will come alive with roaming dinosaurs, interactive ranger encounters and exciting family entertainment throughout the day.
Young explorers can come face-to-face with prehistoric creatures, enjoy memorable photo opportunities and experience the thrill of a Jurassic-style adventure right in the heart of the centre.
Inspired by the imaginative family experiences Yellow Bus Company is known for, Dino Day Adventure promises a day packed with excitement, discovery and unforgettable family memories.

Jurassic Summer at Eastgate
The dinosaur fun doesn't stop there.
From 26th June until 1st September, families can visit our brand-new Dino Dig Excavation Zone, where young palaeontologists can dig, discover and immerse themselves in a prehistoric world of adventure.
Alongside the excavation zone, visitors can also enjoy our giant Dino Egg Photo Opportunity located on level 3, Falcon Gallery, near New Look & Cafferys Designerwear, perfect for capturing your Jurassic summer memories.
Take on the Dino Discovery Trail
From 6th July until 19th August children can join the Eastgate Dino Discovery Trail and explore the centre in search of hidden dinosaurs.
As they journey around Eastgate, participants will collect letters from dinosaur clues, crack the secret code and enter for the chance to win an incredible £200 Eastgate Shopping Spree. Families can also scan QR codes throughout the trail to unlock fascinating dinosaur facts and learn more about these incredible prehistoric creatures.
The trail is free to take part in and offers a fun way to explore the centre while enjoying a family day out.

Roars, Rewards & Refreshments with Scran
As the Nevis Club goes Mega Jurassic this summer, Scranzilla is joining the adventure with roaringly good competitions, family-friendly activities, special offers and exciting new menu launches.
Build, Create and Win
The popular LEGO Corner is making a return for the summer holidays, giving budding builders the chance to put their creativity to the test.
From 27 June to 17 August, visitors can enter for the chance to win a £50 Scran voucher by creating the most imaginative LEGO masterpiece. There's just one rule — no instruction leaflets allowed!
To enter, simply share a photo of your creation on Facebook or Instagram and tag Scran Kitchen & Bar. Whether you're six or sixty, it's the perfect excuse to get building this summer.
Colour in Scranzilla
Young dinosaur fans can also take part in Scran's popular Colour in Scranzilla competition throughout the holidays.
Each month, one lucky winner will receive a £25 family voucher, giving them another reason to enjoy a visit to Scran. Pick up a colouring sheet, get creative and see if your artwork catches Scranzilla's eye.
Spot Scranzilla on Saturdays
Keep an eye out every Saturday morning as Scranzilla roams Eastgate with a selection of delicious food and drink samples from Scran's menu.
You never know what might be on offer — from customer favourites to brand-new specials and sweet treats. Best of all, it's completely free to sample while you're enjoying a day out at Eastgate.
And if you spot Scranzilla, don't forget to stop for a photo. After all, Eastgate's favourite dinosaur loves being in front of the camera.

From 25 June, families can also enjoy reduced-price kids' meals at Scran throughout the summer holidays, making it even easier to enjoy breakfast, lunch or a well-earned treat during your visit.

Roarsome Fun at Waterstones
Get ready for a prehistoric adventure at Waterstones this summer! Little explorers can enjoy free family games sessions every Monday at 11am, discover exciting tales during storytime in the children's area every Wednesday at 11am, and unleash their creativity at Lego building sessions every Friday at 11am. Throughout the holidays, budding palaeontologists can also take part in a Jurassic scavenger hunt around the store, tracking down dinosaurs for the chance to win some sweet treats.
