Shopmobility Highland, a long-established registered charity serving Inverness and Dingwall for over 30 years, is seeking a dedicated Co-ordinator to join our team at our office within the Eastgate Centre, Inverness.

This is a unique opportunity to support individuals experiencing restricted mobility, isolation, and loneliness, helping them remain independent and connected to their community.

About the Role

As Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering essential mobility services that enable people to access shopping, appointments, social activities, cafés, and other day-to-day destinations across Inverness and Dingwall.

Working primarily from our Inverness office, you will help organise and provide mobility equipment while supporting the smooth operation of our services.

Shopmobility Highland also operates two fully accessible minibuses, providing transport to and from local shopping destinations. While these services are typically operated by our volunteer drivers, applicants with a D1 driving licence entitlement would be particularly welcome, as occasional cover may be required.

What We're Looking For

A compassionate and community-minded individual

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A flexible approach to working hours

A desire to support people with mobility challenges

D1 licence entitlement desirable but not essential

Hours & Pay

Hours: Minimum of 7 hours per week

Flexibility: Additional hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Contract: Initial 6-month appointment with the potential for extension, subject to funding and operational requirements
