About Shopmobility Highland
Shopmobility Highland SCIO is a registered charity and has now been in existence since 1994. We started out in the Eastgate, in the pedestrian precinct outside Marks & Spencer, Inverness, operating from a portakabin that provided wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters for people with mobility problems. We are now operating from modern premises on Level 2 of the Eastgate Shopping Centre.
We provide mobility scooters, power chairs, wheelchairs and rollators for persons of all ages with long or short-term mobility problems.
Our users are registered with us, and we offer two membership options: a “one-off” membership, which suits tourists, visitors, or anyone who requires our services for a single use, and a membership that costs £3. Our annual membership costs £10. Thereafter, the cost of our services, whether it be a power scooter or rollato,r is by donation with a minimum donation of £2 for a day or part of a day.
