Sugar in the City, here at Eastgate, are inviting the local community to help spread a little festive kindness this year by creating Christmas hampers for families who may need extra support during the holiday season.
Each hamper will be filled with essential items — along with a few festive treats — to bring comfort and joy to those who might be finding things a little more difficult this Christmas.
How to Help:
Donations of non-perishable food items, such as dry goods and tinned products (within date), or a few extra festive treats are warmly welcomed.
All donations can be dropped off directly at Sugar in the City, located at the High Street entrance, from now onwards.
When:
The hampers will be assembled and ready for collection in the week before Christmas (exact dates to be confirmed).
Requesting Support:
If you or someone you know could benefit from a Christmas hamper this year, please contact the Sugar in the City Inverness team directly with details of how many people the parcel is for. The team will do their best to assist as many families as possible, although numbers may be limited.
Even if you are unable to donate, sharing the message can help raise awareness and reach more families in need — or those who would like to lend a helping hand.
Working together to make this Christmas a little brighter.
