What you’ll be doing

Food Service Assitant

Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however, it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

  • Providing great customer service throughout the dining experience.
  • Cash Handling
  • Working with our Epos System
  • Supporting the supervisor in operating the outlets.
  • Stock control including helping with monthly stock takes.
  • Keeping the front-of-house areas clean and attractive to customers.
  • Service of food to customers.
  • General cleaning of front and back of house
  • Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
  • Preparation of any other public-facing areas as required
  • Undertake relevant training as required in all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.

Head Chef:

  • Take ownership and accountability of operational food management and financial performance of the food operation
  • Provide sustained, innovative and continuous improvement to all menus across a diverse estate
  • Provide sustained, innovative and continuous improvement to the profitability of our offers
  • Plan effective schemes to build sales; measure client satisfaction and increase customer satisfaction
  • Be accountable for the implementation of schemes including new products, procedures and menu specifications, ensuring they fit with the quality and subsidy requirements of the client
  • Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return

Chef De Partie;

  • Preparation and cooking for their given section
  • Cooking and preparing a variety of meals
  • Comply with all relevant food safety legislation
  • Help to reduce kitchen waste and processes to minimise wastage.
  • Supporting with food orders
  • To work in a clean and tidy manner
  • Check all food is compliant with allergens
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
  • Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
  • To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Full knowledge of all menu items served
