Established in 1994, The Fragrance Shop is the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer, offering over 130 luxury fragrance brands across 200+ stores nationwide and online. We’re known for our passion, innovation, and commitment to making luxury and mainstream fragrance accessible to all.

We’re now looking for an experienced and ambitious Store Manager to lead our store at Eastgate Shopping Centre.

The Role

As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of store performance — driving profitability, delivering outstanding customer service, and leading your team to success. You’ll inspire and coach a team of Consultants and an Assistant Store Manager, ensuring operational excellence and a welcoming in-store experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, motivate and inspire the team to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

Analyse store data to support planning and sales forecasting

Review performance and implement action plans with the Area Manager/Regional Director

Drive local initiatives and actively promote the store within Eastgate

Ensure full compliance with company procedures and policies

Take accountability for stock control, shrinkage and operating costs

Prepare and manage rotas (4 weeks in advance) within budget

Oversee Health & Safety and security compliance

Manage recruitment, training, performance reviews and team development

Resolve complex customer queries with professionalism

Deliver high visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines

Ensure accurate pricing, POS, and stock replenishment

Maintain strong communication with Area Manager and Head Office

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Store Management role

GCSE education or equivalent business qualification

Strong understanding of KPIs and target-driven retail environments

Commercial awareness and visual merchandising experience

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

A confident communicator with a customer-first, can-do attitude

Full training will be provided to support your ongoing development.
