The Big Inverness Easter Egg Hunt is Back across Eastgate & Inverness City Centre

We’re bringing the fun back to Eastgate Shopping Centre — and it’s set to be even more egg-citing!

If you joined us before, you’ll remember the buzz across Inverness — colourful eggs hidden in shop windows, families exploring together, music filling the air, and even those famous roaming flowerpots popping up around town.

This year, we’re doing it all again — with Eastgate right at the heart of the adventure.

What’s Happening?

From 11am – 4pm on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th, families are invited to explore the city centre with a trail map, hunting for brightly coloured eggs hidden in shop windows.

And yes… the golden eggs are back! 
Find them to help uncover the Easter Bunny’s name before heading back to us at Eastgate to claim your prize.

Expect:

A FREE Easter egg trail across the city centre
A fun, easy-to-follow map
Activities inside Eastgate
Music and atmosphere across the city
A few familiar roaming characters making appearances

We’re once again proud to be partnering with Inverness BID to bring the community together for a brilliant weekend of family fun.

How to Take Part

Getting involved couldn’t be easier:

Pick up your entry form from one of two collection points:
📍 Outside the Steeple, top of Church Street
📍 Inside Eastgate, Falcon Square entrance

Follow the map, spot the hidden eggs (and the golden ones!), then return your completed form to the Eastgate entry point to collect your prize.

Make Eastgate Your Easter Base

Eastgate is the perfect starting point, pit stop and finishing line all in one.

Warm, welcoming and packed with places to grab a coffee, enjoy lunch or pick up Easter treats, it makes the whole experience easy for families. Whether you’re staying for an hour or making a full day of it, everything you need is right here under one roof. Plus, we have FREE face painting with Louise from Happy Faces, 12.00-16.00  and our Annual Archie Foundation Highland Raffle
