Karate Alba Fundraising Day at Eastgate

Join Karate Alba at Eastgate for a day of fundraising, live demonstrations and community spirit as the club raises money to support its athletes and invest in new equipment.

Founded by Sensei Dolina Ross in 2008, Karate Alba has grown to more than 150 athletes across Inverness and the surrounding area, with classes running throughout the Highlands. Under the guidance of Sensei Ross, a multiple British and Scottish Champion who has competed, taught and trained around the world, the club continues to nurture athletes of all ages and abilities.

The club has enjoyed an exceptional year in competition, travelling across the UK and Ireland and delivering impressive results on the national stage. Most recently, 16 Karate Alba athletes competed in Dublin, with every competitor returning home with a medal, including several double medallists.

Visitors to Eastgate can enjoy exciting karate demonstrations from club members throughout the day and learn more about the club's achievements, training programmes and community work. There may even be a special appearance from the much-loved mascot, Nevis, who has been a huge hit at previous fundraising events.

All funds raised will help Karate Alba continue to provide an inclusive environment for young people to participate in the sport while supporting the increasing costs of training, equipment, venue hire and competition travel.
