Eastgate continues to enhance its sustainability commitment by installing electric charging points in Falcon Car Park.

Eastgate is pleased to announce, that in line with the Centre’s sustainability policy and commitment to the environment, electric vehicle charging facilities are now available in Falcon Car Park.

The five FOR: EV charge points installed are; four 25kW DC charge points and one 22kW AC charger with the ability to charge two cars simultaneously. Overall, the charge points can charge over 100 electric vehicles a day. Falcon car park is accessed via Millburn Road and sits alongside Inverness railway station.

FOR: EV, an Edinburgh-based EV charge point supplier, specialises in offering fully funded electric charging solutions for its customers, removing any financial barriers to installing fully accredited green energy solutions for vehicles.

Wherever possible we are taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint and increase sustainability. These new electric vehicle charge points support our commitment and provide charging for those visiting with electric vehicles from the local community and further afield.”

The charge points cost 60p per kW, are located on level 2, Falcon Car Park, and are accessible from 6 am until 9 pm seven days a week.
