As well as handing out samples of their delicious drinks on the Malls, take your little ones over to the juice bar (located beside H&M), as there will be a fun colouring activity! By taking part, their details will be entered into a prize draw to win a regular smoothie or super juice from their menu and a £20 Eastgate gift voucher.
Yee’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Academy
To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Yee’s Hung Ga Kung Fu Academy will be performing a traditional Chinese Lion Dance and Kung Fu display in the Centre – the performance will start at approximately 2:00 pm in the Food Court.
A tradition in China, local businesses hang red envelopes containing money in their doorways to entice the lion towards their building, thus spreading good fortune and prosperity for the coming year.
Here at Eastgate, stores such as Hotel Chocolate, Superdry, Accessorize, Yankee Candle, Trespass, Phase Eight and Cafferys are looking forward to taking part in the fun and colourful tradition.
