We are taking over early this week as we have another fantastic in-store event happening! White Stuff are treating you all to a spectacular 4-day event starting on Thursday 20th September with 20% off in store and a Gin Bar – yes, a gin bar! Woohoo! So, I thought I would show you a few of my favourites from White Stuff this week!
So, did you see what I did with the title of my blog this week? I did mention a bee, and I was referring to my top pick in White Stuff - the ‘Bea’ sweat. Although I confess to having a slight fear of the beautiful bee, as a design motif they are absolutely gorgeous - very Gucci-esque. This super soft sweater is a rich plum colour with a contrasting metallic foil bee. I tried it on with the Clocktower Cord A Line skirt in Charcoal, slightly tucked in at one side (see too tip below) the Mini Leila Suede Crossbody to pick up the metallic tones and add some lightness. The tights and boots are my own, but there are very similar styles in store to create this look. You could also pair with skinny blue jeans and metallic sneakers for a casual daytime outfit. White Stuff have a plethora of ‘fun’ jumpers to keep you cosy, but still looking on trend, and ready to embrace the colder months.
Amanda’s Top Tip - to add more structure with a sweater/jumper, I suggest you lightly tuck in one side to your skirt or jeans, this will draw attention to the waist to create a more feminine silhouette.
White Stuff is a beautiful store, they have a unique way of merchandising, cleverly displaying items by a particular theme. At the moment they are displaying a ‘going underground’ story and I spotted glittery soil and homegrown carrots in a vase, what a twist on a floral arrangement – absolute genius! You always receive such a friendly welcome when you visit here, the atmosphere is warm with comfy chairs and not to forget the refreshments. They have also created the most magical house for little ones to play in while you can enjoy some ‘me’ time. If only I could fit through the doors, they need to make an adult one, I’d have so much fun!
White Stuff is a place you can head now and pick up your autumnal transitions to warm up your wardrobe – from fun jumpers, soft jeggings and funky day dresses in vibrant earthy prints and a palette that blends beautifully together.
Let us now go to the ‘Edge of the Loch’, Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the ‘Scottish Highlands’ the collection brings to life the deer, croft houses and mountains. How perfectly apt for all of us based in the mystical highlands!
There’s a subtle nod to the hugely popular animal print in White Stuff. From this cute Bella Landscape Spot Crossbody bag (how well does it work with my outfit!) to the Leah Chelsea Boot. These fabulous suede lovelies feature a leopard faux pony skin detail on the heel - I’m in love!
Still on the hunt for a winter coat, capture the true essence of the Scottish mountains with the Pinsley moleskin coat. In gorgeously vivid and rich - Bottle Green, Plum and Teal, it’s super soft, a flattering cut and a great conversation starter. If you remember my blog about finding the perfect coat - it’s often the first thing people see.
Not forgetting the men - date night anyone? Appropriately their popular style of Jean is called Gin Slim. I have dressed a few male clients in this style, it’s ideal for the smart casual look when you want to dress up without the ’suited & booted’ look. Wear with a smart overcoat/waistcoat/shirt combo or smarten up a cosy knit such as the Pacifica Engineered Funnel to show strength and style.
How exciting to have all these events going on at the Eastgate Centre - I do love it when we can be all social. It’s good for the soul, and as the nights draw in gives you something to look forward to! Don’t forget there’s also the student night this Friday, there’s so much fun going on I wish I was a student again – more information here!!
As always lovely to share my thoughts with you, come share yours with me during a shop ‘n’ style session or book in advance for your Christmas party outfit - ssssh I know it seems early but this gives you time to sparkle and shine with confidence. You deserve it!
Have a fab week, Amanda x
