COVID-19 FAQs - Level 0 From 19th July

From Monday 19th July, physical distancing in Level 0 will reduce to 1-metre in all indoor public settings and outdoors. Confirming the change, the First Minister has urged people to adhere to protective measures and sensible precautions to suppress coronavirus (COVID-19) to help create conditions that allow Scotland to move beyond Level 0 on 9th August. The health and safety of our customers and employees continues to be our number one priority, so we have several measures in place to keep you safe during your visit to the Centre. 

These measures include an enhanced cleaning regime. The Centre uses a chemical that works unlike any other antimicrobial product - reapplied on all popular touchpoints every 28 days, it provides protection against germs and viruses for 30 days. ⁠

All of our retailers will implement their own health and safety procedures, so we encourage you to keep up-to-date with any changes by checking their websites and social media platforms.

WHEN IS THE CENTRE OPEN?

Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Individual opening times for some stores and eateries may vary.

HOW DO I GET INTO THE CENTRE?

All customer entrances are open - High Street, Crown Road, Falcon Square, Millburn Road, Stephens Brae and Morrisons Supermarket link bridge. Access to the Centre is also available via both car parks - Eastgate and Falcon Gallery. 

WHERE CAN I PARK?

We have two car parks to choose from, Eastgate Car Park and Falcon Gallery Car Park. 

Eastgate Car Park
Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
Friday & Saturday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Level 1 can be accessed from Millburn Road (turn left adjacent to Cinnamon Restaurant) Level 3 can be accessed from Crown Road (turn left off Millburn Road adjacent to M&S).

Falcon Gallery Car Park
Monday - Sunday: 6:00 am - 9:00 pm

Falcon Gallery Car Park can be accessed from Millburn Road (turn right adjacent to Morrisons).

HOW DO I PAY FOR PARKING?

You can pay by cash or card at our car park pay machines. You'll find these at the below locations:

Phase 1 (Lift Lobbies)
1 x Level 1 (Card),  1 x level 3 (Cash)

Phase 1 (adjacent to Ernest Jones)
2 x Level 4 (Card/Cash)

Phase 2 (Main lift Lobby)
1 x Level 1 (Card),  2 x Level 2 (Card/Cash)

Phase 2 (Glass Lobbies)
1 x Level 1 (Cash),  1 x Level 2 (Cash)

DO I NEED TO QUEUE FOR EACH STORE?

Stores will be limiting the number of customers allowed in at any one time. Some will also be operating an appointment system to avoid queues.  When queuing, please adhere to the 1-metre rule.

IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW LONG I CAN SPEND IN THE CENTRE?

There is no limit, but please only stay for as long as necessary. Where possible, we will be limiting the number of customers in the Centre at any one time to ensure social distancing can be adhered to. Our security and cleaning teams will be vigilant in observing crowd densities and advising accordingly.

IS CASH BEING ACCEPTED BY STORES?

Please check with individual stores for their safety measures. However, many stores are preferring card payments.

CAN I USE THE LIFTS?

Per lift, a limit of four individuals or one household is in place. Guiding you where to stand and face, you will spot floor stickers inside the lifts.

ARE THE TOILETS OPEN?

The public and accessible toilets, as well as our mother and baby rooms are all open. These can be found in the lower mall on level 3 (Falcon Gallery), and in the upper mall on level 5 (Eastgate).

DO YOU HAVE ANY PUBLIC SEATING? 

Yes, seating is available adjacent to H.Samuel, Fuel Juice Bar, and The Entertainer. Please sit 1-metre apart from other customers.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK?

Yes, please wear a face mask during your entire visit to the Centre - this will help protect yourself and others.

We understand that some individuals may be exempt from wearing a face covering. For example, if you have a health condition or you are communicating with someone else who relies on lip-reading. If you have a reason for not wearing a face-covering during your visit to Eastgate, please cut out and use one of our exemption cards.

DO YOU HAVE HAND SANITISERS AVAILABLE?

Yes, hand sanitisers can be found at all entrances and in the lift lobbies. An enhanced cleaning regime is also in place throughout the Centre, with special attention focused on all touchpoints such as doors, handrails, pay machines, lift buttons and interiors, door entries, disabled entries, taps, toilet handles and hand dryers.

WHERE DO I GO IF I HAVE A PROBLEM OR QUESTION?

The Eastgate security team are always on hand to answer any questions or address any concerns. For Centre Management and lost property, please use the call button on the car park pay machines.
