Here’s how we are keeping you safe during your next visit to the Centre...
The Eastgate Roadway
The Eastgate Roadway system has been put in place to ensure that shoppers and retailers are operating in a safe environment.
During your visit, you’ll notice new floor graphics and hanging signs. Please use roundabouts for changing direction, follow arrows and one way systems, use designated queue markings, and keep to the left at all times.
A limit of two people has been put in place inside the lifts. Guiding you where to stand and face, you'll spot floor stickers inside the lifts.
Entrances and Customer Numbers
Stores will be limiting numbers of customers allowed in at any one time and some stores will be operating an appointment system to avoid queues. When queuing, please adhere to the 2 metre rule.
Where possible are limiting the number of customers in the Centre at any one time to ensure social distancing can be adhered to. Our security and cleaning teams will be vigilant in observing crowd densities and advising accordingly.
We’ve temporarily closed the link bridge to Morrisons Supermarket, as well as the pedestrian entrance and exit at Stephens Brae. This is to help control numbers within the Centre.
Enhanced Cleaning Regime
An enhanced cleaning regime has been introduced, with special attention focused on all touch points such as doors, handrails, pay machines, lift buttons and interiors, door entries, disabled entries, taps, toilet handles and hand dryers.
Used throughout the Centre, we are using a chemical called Zoono (Z71) which works unlike any other antimicrobial - it provides protection for 30 days.
The public and accessible toilets, as well as the mother and baby room are all open in Phase 2 (Falcon Gallery). Toilets are also available in-store at Debenhams and M&S.
The toilet facilities and Centre Management offices on Level 5 of Phase 1 are closed. For lost property and enquiries, please use the call button on the car park pay machines.
In Scotland, people must - by law - wear a face covering in retail environments. Therefore, we kindly ask you to wear a covering during your entire visit to the Centre. This will help protect yourself and others.
A face covering can be any covering of the mouth and nose that is made of cloth or other textiles and through which you can breathe.
We understand that some individuals may be exempt from wearing a face covering. For example, if you have a health condition or you are communicating with someone else who relies on lip reading.
If you have a reason for not wearing a face covering during your visit to Eastgate, please cut out and use one of our exception cards.
If you would like further clarification regarding the wearing of coverings, please visit the Scottish Government website.
