Reopening FAQ

13 July 2020

What are your opening times?

Our opening times remain the same. Monday – Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Thursday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, Friday & Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm and Sunday: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

How do I get into the Centre?

Access is available via both car parks - Eastgate and Falcon Gallery. You can also access the Centre via the following entrances: High Street, Crown Road, Falcon Square or Millburn Road.

We’ve temporarily closed the link bridge to Morrisons Supermarket, as well as the pedestrian entrance and exit at Stephens Brae.

Which stores are open in the Centre?

The majority of stores are open, but you can find a full list of the stores that have re-opened and their opening hours here.

Do I have to queue for each store?

Stores will be limiting numbers of customers allowed in at any one time and some stores will be operating an appointment system to avoid queues.  When queuing, please adhere to the 2 metre rule.

Will there be a limit to how long I can spend in the Centre?

There's no limit applied to the amount of time you are able to spend in the Centre. However, please only stay for as long as absolutely necessary.

Is cash being accepted at stores or will it be card payment only?

Please check with individual stores for their safety measures. However, we expect many stores to only accept card payments.

Is there a one-way system in place?

Yes, parts of the centre have a one way sytem in place, we are also asking you to keep left at all times during your visit. The Eastgate Roadway system has been put in place to ensure that shoppers and retailers are operating in a safe environment. Please use roundabouts for changing direction, follow arrows and one way systems, use designated queue markings, and keep to the left at all times.

Can I stand and talk to friends?

This is discouraged as it disrupts the flow of other customers using the Centre.  Please arrange to meet them outside rather than in the malls.

Can I use the lifts?

A limit of two people has been put in place. Guiding you where to stand and face, you'll spot floor stickers inside the lifts.

Are all the toilets open?

The toilet facilities on Level 5 of Phase 1(Eastgate) are closed. Please use the public toilets, accessible toilets and the mother and baby room in Phase 2 (Falcon Gallery). Toilets are also available in-store at Debenhams and M&S.

Do you have public seating?

No, not at this time - all seating has temporarily been removed.

Do I need to wear a face covering?

In Scotland, people must - by law - wear a face covering in retail environments. Therefore, we kindly ask you to wear a covering during your entire visit to the Centre. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, you can download our Exemption Card.

Do you have hand sanitisers available?

Yes, you'll find hand sanitisers at the entrances. An enhanced cleaning regime has been introduced throughout the Centre, with special attention focused on all touch points such as doors, handrails, pay machines, lift buttons and interiors, door entries, disabled entries, taps, toilet handles and hand dryers.

What are your car park opening times?

Eastgate car park is open Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm, Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm, Friday & Saturday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
