Subway, one of Britain’s best-known sandwich shops, opened a new store in Inverness on Saturday 5th December 2020.
Previously located within Eastgate Centre at the upstairs Food Court, the new 1,530 square feet unit at Falcon Square provides more space and also boasts a dominant street-facing location.
“I have been the franchisee of the Subway restaurants in Inverness for over 16 years, starting with Inglis Street, Harbour Road and then the Eastgate Shopping Centre. When the opportunity came up to relocate the Eastgate Centre and the Inglis Street store to the newly formed restaurant unit creating one larger store, we had to make the move.” – Liam Dalgarno, Subway Business Development Agent.
The new Falcon Square store has been built using modern “Fresh Forward” décor, which features all-new equipment, furniture, futuristic lighting, and LED digital menu boards.
Open seven days a week (Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday & Saturday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm), the restaurant offers sit-in dining, mobile orders, and takeaways. Using 3rd party providers such as Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats, deliveries are also available.
Jackie Cuddy, Eastgate Centre Manager said: “Subway is a great addition on Falcon Square. It is always good to see a tenant upsizing and the finish of the unit is very modern and bright. In what has been a difficult year it is pleasing to see the tenant’s commitment to Eastgate and Inverness.”
